The Bender Hot XXX Network
Highly Recommended: Entertainment Geekly
This site is for geeks. It’s for those who understand what it means to be a geek. It’s especially for those who realize that being a geek can fit quite happily into a normal and fulfilling life. (I am the webmaster.)
The people in my neighborhood
I added my global coordinates to the GeoURL database. Then, I can see others that are nearby.

I have friends with their own little corners of the Web. Hello to all of you. Thanks for showing up.

Many of my friends do not have a Web presence. That’s too bad for them, I guess.
Hardcore Action
My highest admiration extends to the creators of these sites. Kudos, my friends. You have a fan for life.
Lileks.com
James Lileks succeeds where other fail. His vast personal site pushes technology to the rear, and displays the human spirit like no other web site I have seen. His works include a daily journal, a huge gallery of American Postcards, some crazy postwar popular culture and tons of great stories and photographs. Lileks’ writings remind me of newspaper legend Mike Royko, and his photos truly capture the American midwest. I have never seen a more human and organic web site.
Jeffrey Zeldman Presents
When I first got on the web, Zeldman was one of the first people I found. His ever-changing personal site has all the right elements: elegant design, simplicity, color, great writing, sense of humor, courage and passion. Zeldman’s many projects also include A List Apart and the Web Standards Project. This guy is one of my personal heroes, and certainly one of the most creative people on the Web.
37 Signals
Of all the web design firms out there, 37 Signals is one of the few that “gets it”. In a world of ugly graphics and tacky animations, this team understands the beauty of well-written code. Their portfolio site explains their forward-thinking philosophy and demonstrates the surprising flexibility of text-based web sites.
