Ever have one of those frustrating moments where everything screeches to a halt, and suddenly you’re so bored that you want to scream, and you can’t understand how you got there because just half-an-hour ago, you were happily occuppied and then that activity ended and you’re faced with empty time—and rather than swiftly deciding what comes next, you waste away forty minutes by beating down all the reasonable ideas of things to do, coming back each time to the thing you know you’re saving for another time because now is not the right time for it? Then you realize that you’ve just wasted forty minutes to indecision, and that it might make a good journal entry. So you write a few sentences about it, and then you’re back in the same place except another ten minutes have gone by and finally you just give up and watch Seinfeld, which eats up another thirty minutes and then hopefully you're in a better mood and you can be productive or at least occupied until bedtime.
