Rox Drops Out, and Evil Dave Hacks

Two quick insider tidbits from this afternoon at the ASG offices:

ROXANNE ONG IS OUT! Roxanne Ong, considered by this reporter to be perhaps the best presidential material on this campus, decided this afternoon not to run for President this year. Apparently, she feels that she would be running for the wrong reasons; instead of caring about the issues involved, she’d be running because everyone thinks she should run. In spite of the disappointment in losing such a good candidate, she must be praised for her honesty in realizing what these elections should be about. EVIL DAVE: COMPUTER HACKER? According to sources inside ASG, Evil Dave Sheldon may have a crack team of computer hackers working on methods to skew the new online voting to favor his candidacy and bring him to power after several futile runs for the presidency. Sheldon asked today if he were allowed to link from his campaign webpage to the polling webpage, and was denied, at which point he claimed that he had people working on the computers. This brings to mind a reported incident at IU last year, where stolen social security numbers were used to pump illegal votes to an underdog candidate. As always, Evil Dave knows how to keep things interesting, and keep people talking.
